Sixth Winner for Zousain

Tara Madgwick - Monday April 1

A competitive juvenile maiden over 1300m at Warwick Farm on Easter Monday produced a new winner for Zousain wit the Ciaron Maher trained filly Froebel Star doing best in a tight finish to snatch a narrow victory.

Froebel Star finished second at in her first start at the Gold Coast in January chasing home Too Darn Lizzie in the $500,000 Magic Millions Debut and was then sixth in the Listed ATC Lonhro Plate behind Castanya.

Given a little freshen up after that effort in early February, she looked sharp winning a recent trial and ran up to that form to outpoint I Am Invincible colt The Three Hundred to win by a nose with James McDonald in the saddle.

A $320,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Raheen Stud draft for Ciaron Maher Bloodstock/David Redvers Bloodstock, she runs for an all female ownership group and has already banked over $124,000 in prizemoney.
