A full field of 16 plus one emergency will line up in the $5million Group I ATC Golden Slipper this Saturday with the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable to send out seven of those runners including the favourite Storm Boy, who has drawn ideally in gate two.

The 2024 field is made up of 12 colts, no geldings and four fillies with Espionage also adding to the colts representation should he secure a start.

Arrowfield Stud’s Snitzel is the only sire with multiple runners and has stakes-winning colts Switzerland and Prost engaged.
