Victorian based Cornwall Park Stud have targeted the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale (March 18 and 19) for their draft of six yearlings, which includes four from the first crop of Written Tycoon’s brilliant son Dirty Work, whose progeny have sold for up to $260,000 this year.

A champion sire and now a sire of sires, Written Tycoon has four proven sons at stud – Capitalist, Written By, Rich Enuff and Winning Rupert – and all four have left Group winners with Dirty Work well placed to follow in their footsteps.

A fast Group II winning sprinter, Dirty Work started his stud career with Spendthrift before switching to Widden Victoria and has been well supported with the following youngsters sure to command interest.

Third foal of an unraced half-sister to Group III winner Yulalona and stakes-winner Applegate, the dam of this season’s high class Kiwi trained multiple Group winning filly Impendabelle and Group III winner Cloudy.

Dam is a half-sister to multiple Group II winner Trusting, who was also five times G1 placed and is from Group II winner Legible. Dirty Work’s sire Written Tycoon has had four winners from five runners out of Casino Prince mares and sons of Written Tycoon have had five winners from six runners out his daughters and they include Group III winner Abounding (Rich Enuff).

Half-sister to six winners headed by Group II MVRC Australia Stakes winner Richie’s Vibe, a winner of nearly $400,000 with multiple Group and Listed placings and third dam is US Group I winner Dawn’s Curtsey.

Rounding out the draft are two yearlings from the second crop of US Group I winner Omaha Beach (USA), whose oldest US progeny are three year-olds and include three stakes-winners Kopion, Hot Beach and Sandy Bottom among 33 winners.
