Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday March 12

The were four heats for juveniles at Warwick Farm on Tuesday morning with unraced winners by Zoustar and Too Darn Hot (GB), plus an eye-catching place-getter for Yes Yes Yes.

Trained by John O’Shea and ridden by Tommy Berry, Too Darn Hot gelding Interjection has shown good improvement and was having his fourth trial here and second this prep. He was ridden along to win, but the eye-catching run was Useapin, a $420,000 Yes Yes Yes filly who has now finished second at each of her trials and looks one to follow.

A $210,000 Inglis Premier purchase from Rosemont Stud for :John O'Shea Racing / Suman Hedge Bloodstock has a top class European pedigree that would suggest he’s going to be better at three and over ground. His dam is an unraced Frankel mare from a family that bristles with staying SW’s.

A $420,000 MM purchase, Useapin was the most expensive filly from the first crop of Yes Yes Yes.

Runner-up Useapin is the most expensive filly from the first crop of Yes Yes Yes and her dam is a half-sister to Group II winning sire Star Turn.

Trained by Annabel Neasham and ridden by Chad Schofield, Zoustar filly Global Miss made sharp improvement on her first trial last month when she was sked for little and finished last. This time she was on the job from the get go and led and kept going to beat a couple of expensive Snitzel colts that were both having their first outing.

A $180,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Triple Crown from Lustre Lodge, Global Miss is from stakes-winning So You think mare Global Thinking.

Third placed Insinuate is a half-brother to Everest winner Yes Yes Yes and prepared by his trainer Chris Waller.

Addition winners were Squeezebox (Epaulette) and Froebel Star (Zousain).
