Telemon Thoroughbreds Magic March Selection

All roads lead to the Gold Coast next week for the Magic Millions March Yearling Sale (March 11 and 12) and Telemon Thoroughbreds will present a draft of six including three by the farm’s proven and promising sires Sidestep and Sun City.

A Group II winning son of now pensioned champion sire Exceed and Excel, Sidestep shot to fame siring Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi in his first crop  and has proven a reliable source of winners at his new home at stud in Queensland.

He has sired 38 winners in Australasia this season headed by his flying filly Party for Two and metro winners Bootscooter and Pivotal Lad.

A precocious Group III winning juvenile by Zoustar, Sun City has been quickly into stride with his first crop of two year-olds siring three winners from five runners with Mishani Eclipse and Mishani Suspect both metro winners.

Lot 15 Filly Spirit of Boom x Military Blonde, by General Nediym

Dam is a metro winning half-sister to Group III winner Be Positive and has produced six winners from seven starters.

Lot 160 Colt Dubious x Tinjirarni, by Exceed and Excel

From metro winning half-sister to Group I winner Apercu that has had four winners from four foals to race.

Lot 206 Filly Sidestep x Annatime, by Time Thief

First foal of nine time winner of over $225,000 from the family of Group I winners Allez Wonder and Tivaci.

Lot 252 Filly Sun City x Casual Witness, by Star Witness

Bred on successful Zoustar (sire of Sun City) x Star Witness nick that has had four winners from four runners highlighted by Group III winner Twin Stars.

Lot 353 Filly Sidestep x Invictum Domina, by I Am Invincible

Second foal of Sydney metro winning daughter of champion sire I Am Invincible and is a full sister to handy three year-old winner Quade, who has a win and five placings from six starts for the Tony Gollan stable.

Lot 373 Filly Xtravagant x Lady Markle, by Reset

First living foal from an unraced mare with a big pedigree. One to excite the pedigree buffs as she has a 3 x 3 double cross of champion sire Zabeel and traces in tail female line to his dam Lady Giselle.
