Ridden by Angela Jones and starting for the first time in 23 weeks, the 3-year-old daughter of Capitalist left it late to overpower the equal favourite Jewels Statement (Press Statement).
A winner at the Sunshine Coast on debut, Venturer was not far from the winner when sixth at Eagle Farm last September.

It was better luck for her dam Mirror Mirror, though, as she claimed the 2yo Classic in 2005 in addition to her success in the Group III Gimcrack Stakes.
No Looking Back was a $40,000 purchase for M & C Bloodstock at the National Broodmare Sale in 2023. She foaled a filly by Written by last spring and was covered by Toronado (IRE).
