Half-Sister to G1 Winner a Collingrove Premier Star

Set to offer 30 yearlings at Inglis Premier by 22 different sires, the Collingrove Stud draft really does have something for everyone, but the half-sister to recent Group I Centenary Sprint Cup winner Victor the Winner is a filly that offers racing potential right now and also residual value for the future.

Back in 2020, Collingrove Stud presented a quality colt by Toronado (IRE) from Noetic that was snapped by Golden River Investments / Mr Chu for $180,000 and in the care of Danny Shum, Victor the Winner has developed into one of the most progressive sprinters in Hong Kong.

The five year-old gelding worked through the grades before finishing fourth in the Group I Hong Kong International Sprint last December and then soared to new heights this year beating a hot field including champion sprinters Wellington and Lucky Sweynesse to win the Group I Centenary Sprint Cup (1200m).

With seven wins from 14 starts, the best is still to come from Victor the Winner, whose yearling half-sister will be offered by Collingrove as Lot 427.

She is from the second crop of young I Am Invincible sire I Am Immortal who posted his second winner last week and is a half-sister to two more winners in addition to Victor the Winner being from stakes-placed Cape Cross (IRE) mare Noetic, a half-sister to stakes-placed Starlight Lady.
