Debut Four Length winner for Tassort

Tara Madgwick - Saturday February 17

Tassort added a fourth winner to his tally at Bendigo on Saturday when the Anthony and Sam Freedman trained filly Ameena bolted clear to win as she pleased on debut.

A homebred for Emirates Park, Ameena was a hot favourite and strolled home to win the 1000m maiden by four lengths in 57.30, which was nearly a second quicker than the all age maiden on the program.

Ameena is the first winner for Emaan, a winning half-sister by Harbour Watch (IRE) to the dam of Group III winner Marboosha. She produced another filly by Tassort last spring.
