$320,000 for Extreme Choice Colt at Classic

Tara Madgwick - Sunday February 11

At the 2015 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Mick Price paid $100,000 for a colt by Not a Single Doubt and Extreme Choice would go on to be a life changing horse for all those connected with him winning two Group I races before emerging as one of the hottest sires in the country and Price was happy to pay $320,000 for one of his sons at Riverside Stables on Sunday.

$320,000 Extreme Choice colt from Brisk (GB).

Consigned by The Chase, the China Horse Club bred colt from Brisk (GB) is a half-brother to good metro winner Dance to Dubai from a classy international family with his second and third dams both stakes-winners. They obviously like the mating as Brisk has a filly to follow by Extreme Choice and is back in foal to him again.

Foaled on November 22, the colt has plenty of growing to do and Price is well pleased with his purchase, one of five on the opening day of the sale for the leading trainer.

Extreme Choice had one other colt from Clockwork Orange sell on Sunday making $200,000 for Kingstar Farm when bought by Byerley Bloodstock and he has two fillies left that will sell on Tuesday.
