Bred by Rheinwood, Russian Revolution colt Libertad was sold in their 2022 Inglis Classic draft for just $40,000 to astute breeze up pinhooker Tal Nolen, who was well rewarded for his purchase when the colt then made $210,000 at the Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale with Annabel Neasham the buyer.

Libertad proved an immediate success on the track winning Randwick and then the Group III ATC Kindergarten Stakes at his second start before returning as a spring three year-old -to win the Group III ATC San Domenico Stakes.

Lot 239

Rheinwood will offer 12 yearlings at Inglis Classic and the half-brother to Libertad, by first season sire Prague from Electric Charge will be offered as Lot 239.

"The Prague from Electric  Charge is a lovely strong colt with strength and athleticism in abundance. He is a real bull!" said Stud Manager Dee Foster. "He is far more precocious than Libertad was at this sale two years ago."

Electric Charge is a winning half-sister to Group III winner Miss Darcey from stakes-winner Miss Bussell, a daughter of Group I Auckland Classic winner Lurestina, so there is plenty of quality and versatility in the family. He is also bred on a similar Redoute’s Choice x Charge Forward cross to Golden Slipper winner Estijaab.
