Time Has Come for Time to Reign

Kingstar Farm are looking forward to Friday at the Magic Millions when the three yearlings in Book 1 by their first season sire Time to Reign will all go under the hammer and Conor Phelan reports they have been well inspected this week.

A fast and precocious juvenile that won the Group II ATC  Silver Slipper and is a half-brother to Champion 2YO Filly and Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign, Time to Reign has been given a great opportunity at Kingstar at a modest fee of $9,900.

Time to Reign stands at Kingstar Farm.

“Time To Reign was an exceptionally fast 2yo beating the likes of Bivouac, Tassort, Yes, Yes Yes, Cosmic Force, Dubious etc and he has a knack for genuinely stamping his stock,” said Conor Phelan.

“We could have easily brought another three or four up here, they are such good types and the ones that are here should be on everyone’s list.”

Time to Reign is a grand-son of champion sire Snitzel and has a top class female pedigree with his dam Courgette selling for $2.1million at the Magic Millions National Broodmare  Sale in 2018.

“Time to Reign won a Silver Slipper and was the second colt home in the Golden Slipper that year, so was an elite juvenile,” Phelan said.

“He had the raw talent with the pedigree to match and his ill-fated sire Time For War is very much underrated (72.7%w/r and 5.7% SW/r).”

Below are the Time to Reign yearlings for Book 1 with two offered by Kingstar and a third by Glenbeigh Farm.

“The Time To Reign colt out of Group III winner Hi Belle (747) is just an athlete. With the exception of our Extreme Choice colt, he’s been our most popular as he just moves so well, so is definitely one to follow for whoever buys him,” Phelan said.

Lot 810 Colt Time to Reign x Jehannedarc (IRE), by Montjeu - Kingstar Farm

Lot 735 Colt Time to Reign x Guapa (USA), by Rock Hard Ten- Glenbeigh Farm

“He’s such a strong, athletic, good moving colt with a lot of presence, it’s hard not to be impressed. He’s got such a professional attitude and has been well found,” said Dennis Griffin of Glenbeigh Farm.
