First Win for Peltzer Sister – Family at Premier

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 30

With his first yearlings about to be offered at Magic Millions in January, top class sprinter miler Peltzer is well into the next phase of his career as a young stallion at Twin Hills Stud, but for his younger sister Madison Kate it’s all just beginning and she cast off maiden status in style at Cranbourne on Friday.

Retained to race by her breeders and sent to Phillip Stokes, Madison Kate improved at her second start following a sixth place debut earlier this month. She hit the line hard for Zac Spain to win the 1600m maiden running away.

Madison Kate is the full sister to Group II winning millionaire Peltzer and three-quarter sister-in-blood to stakes-winner So We Are being the second winner for Miss Otto, a winning half-sister to Group II placed Miss With Attitude, the dam of Group III winner Crown Towers.

Mill Park Stud as agent will offer another So You Think colt from Miss Otto at Inglis Premier as Lot 395 and she produced yet another colt by So You Think in November.

Mill Park will also offer two more yearlings from the same family at Inglis Premier.

Lot 535 is the second foal of stakes-winner So We Are, a colt by Wootton Bassett (GB) and Lot 255 is a Street Boss (USA) filly from Gostraightandhard, a winning half-sister to So We Are.
