Race 1 summary - She was placed at Beaumont in her only starts. Big danger. I TOO CAN DANCE has placed in all three runs this time in. Races well here, just needs luck from the draw. MUSTAKNOWN is closing in on a win after placing in both runs this preparation. SOLITARY MARCH and DORAWIN for the wider exotics.

Race 2 summary - DAGGA BOY is racing well. He was runner up at Grafton over this distance last start, that reads well for a race like this. ASK THE PRICE ran a huge race when resuming over an unsuitable distance. He can be only further improved here, look the danger. FRAAJMAHAL peaks here after two runs back from a spell. Improver stepping up to this distance. SHRAPELLI goes in all the exotics.
Race 2 tips - 1st: DAGGA BOY (3), 2nd: ASK THE PRICE (1), 3rd: FRAAJMAHAL (4), 4th: SHRAPELLI (8).

Race 3 summary - Open race. PLATEAU GOLD will find this much easier than the Kirby last start. He will take plenty of catching dropping back to the 800m. HYDRAZINE has been freshened since placing in his past two starts. He gets in well after the claim. ARISE AUGUSTUS resumes. He is yet to win fresh but looks ready to go after winning a recent trials. CHILLI ZAIM looked home until grabbed late in the Daniel Baker Prelude here last start. Back in distance looks perfect.
Race 3 tips - 1st: PLATEAU GOLD (1), 2nd: HYDRAZINE (3), 3rd: ARISE AUGUSTUS (2), 4th: CHILLI ZAIM (7).

Race 4 summary - DOURO appreciated the step up to this distance winning at Taree last start. Harder here but has scope for further improvement. STAR FEST is racing very consistently. He backs up after placing at Ballina on Friday and is looking for this trip now. DYLAN'S ROMANCE will appreciate the drop back to country grade. He is ready to do something after three runs back from a spell and out to this trip. COLLABORATION is ready to improve after two runs back from a spell and out to the 2000m suits.
Race 4 tips - 1st: DOURO (10), 2nd: STAR FEST (11), 3rd: DYLAN'S ROMANCE (2), 4th: COLLABORATION (1).

Race 5 summary - Good race. THREE HATS was placed behind a smart one at Wyong when resuming. Will be better for that run and this is easier. MENNEKE BELLE won at Grafton first up. She will come on from that run and will appreciate the step up in distance. REFUGE BAY resumes here for Pfieffer and McEvoy. She looks ready to go after two recent trials. PAJADOS a place hope again.
Race 5 tips - 1st: THREE HATS (2), 2nd: MENNEKE BELLE (7), 3rd: REFUGE BAY (14), 4th: PAJADOS (8).

Race 6 summary - BETTER LAND is the class runner. He has been mixing his form in Qld metropolitan grade. This is easier and he is the one to beat if he gets any luck from the draw. SHOTGUN ROULETTE is a talented mare resuming. She flies fresh and gets in light after the claim. Big threat. ELITE DUBELO is racing very consistently in easier company. He gets in light after the claim and has the rails draw. DANTGA had excuses in the Mclean Cup last start. HE is better suited back to the 1200m and can figure if he finds his best. FREE STANDING goes in everything.
Race 6 tips - 1st: SHOTGUN ROULETTE (14), 2nd: ELITE DUBLEO (10), 3rd: DANTGA (5), 4th: FREE STANDING (2).

Race 7 summary - PELETHRONIUS has won all four starts this preparation, the past two at Randwick in Saturday grade. Rises in weight but drop in grade. The one to beat. SOFIN has placed in the Wauchope and South Grafton Cups in both runs this time in. Peaks for this and has the rails draw. EGYPTIAN RULER worked home nicely with the big weight in the Stawell Cup here last start. Maps well here and drops 4kg on that run. MR MCBAT was dominant winning the South Grafton Cup last start. Rises in weight and drawn awkwardly but has to be included.
Race 7 tips - 1st: PELETHRONIUS (1), 2nd: SOFIN (2), 3rd: EGYPTIAN RULER (4), 4th: MR MCBAT (7).

Race 8 summary - SUPREME GIRL was runner up here last start. This looks no harder and gets in well after the 3kg claim. She has the race fitness on her side. Big watch on GO THE GANTRY. He resumes here for a new stable without a trial. He goes good fresh and his form looks up to a race like this. DREAM STARLET hasn't been far away in her past two starts. Gets the right sort of run here. BONNE CHEVAL the other main chance.
Race 8 tips - 1st: SUPREME GIRL (7), 2nd: GO THE GANTRY (2), 3rd: DREAM STARLET (14), 4th: BONNE CHEVAL (8).
