Invincible Colt Impresses at Cranbourne

Racenet's Brad Waters highlighted this two year old colt by I Am Invincible as the best of the juvenile trial winners at Cranbourne on Tuesday morning.

The Difference as a yearlingAnother slick youngster from the Tony McEvoy stable, The Difference did everything right showing good ability to win his 800 metre heat in the quickest time of the three juvenile trials.

He was sharp enough to sit on the speed three-wide early before jockey Luke Currie waited until the 200m to give The Difference a little more rein. The colt quickly took control of the heat without too much effort and cruised to the line a clear winner.

A $300,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Aquis Farm / Blue Sky Bloodstock (FBAA) / McEvoy Mitchell Racing Pty Ltd from the Fairview Park Stud draft, The Difference is from Aroha Cat, a minor winner by Tale of the Cat (USA) that traces back to celebrated matriarch Princess Tracy (IRE).

This is the family of Australian Horse of the Year Typhoon Tracy and numerous other Group I winners including Master of Design and Danasinga.

The Difference will be eligible for the lucrative $500,000 Inglis Nursery in December, a race won last year by Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign.
