Timely Updates – Magic Millions - All I Wanted for Christmas!

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday December 27

As we get closer to the yearling sales vendors have their eyes on the prize and while they can control everything to do with the physical preparation of the horse, it’s pedigree and the possibility of a timely stakes update is in the lap of the gods and for some of them the cards fell the right way over the Christmas break.

Storm Boy wins the G3 BJ McLachlan Stakes and is primed for the $3million MM 2YO Classic - image Michael McInally.

Biggest pedigree update over the Christmas break was undoubtedly the win of exciting Justify (USA) colt Storm Boy in the Group III BRC BJ McLachlan Stakes and his half-brother by Pierro will be headed to the Gold Coast for Coolmore.
