Frankel 42 SW’s for the Year

Frankel moved to 42 stakes-winners for the year and 136 lifetime stakes-winners with a victory in the Group II Al Rashidiya (1m1f) overnight at Meydan for the Godolphin homebred colt Measured Time.

Trained by Charlie Appleby and ridden by William Buick, Measured Time had three wins and a second in a Listed race before heading to Dubai and the three year old colt raced to a dominant three and a quarter length win.

Measured Time is a half-brother to triple Group I winner Rebel’s Romance and is the second stakes-winner among four winners from Group III placed Street cry mare Minidress, a sister to Group III winner Volcanic Sky and daughter of Group III winner Shirt Skirt.

The Frankel  x Street Cry nick has  produced 10 winners from 12 runners and six of them are stakes-winners, so 50% winner to runner!

Measured Time is the 136th stakes-winner for Frankel, who a also had double of new stakes-winners the day before.

There are six yearlings catalogued for Magic Millions by Frankel, who runs at 69% winner to runner and 17% SW to runner lifetime stats.
