Anthony and Sam Freedman enjoyed an amazing spring with high class stayer Without a Fight (IRE), but issued a statement on Friday announcing the unfortunate news that their stable star will be out of action in the autumn.

Without a Fight has suffered a minor tendon strain that will require a period of rehabilitation which will rule him out of autumn racing.

The seven year-old Teofilo gelding won both the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups in the spring and had five starts in Australia this year winning four of them.
