$250,000 MM Ballarat 2YO Classic – Sale Mail

Tara Madgwick - Friday December 8

With the $3million Magic Millions 2YO Classic on January 13 just a month away, juveniles looking at securing a start need prizemoney on the board and in Victoria the $250,000 MM 2YO Classic at Ballarat on Saturday offers a pathway to the Gold Coast.

There is a field of 11 with a short priced favourite in stakes-placed Too Darn Hot (GB) filly Arabian Summer, who has had two starts for two stakes placings behind Coleman and Karavas at Caulfield and Flemington.

Too Darn Hot sired his first Australian winner when Climactic won at Geelong on Thursday and Arabian Summer could easily be his second.

Interesting runner is the Godolphin trained Extreme Choice colt Parkour that was purchased for $600,000 at  Magic Millions making him the most expensive horse in the race.

Parkour was a $600,000 MM purchase for Godolphin from Goodwood Farm.

He did absolutely nothing in a 742m trial at Randwick last month when finishing a long last, but to be fair was not asked for much either, so he must have made some progress to warrant accepting for this.
