Over the next five years TAB will also sponsor the $1 million The Syndicate and $1 million Fillies & Mares features for eligible Magic Millions graduates.

This comes on top of the recently announced supporting partnership of TAB with the world first Magic Millions Racing Women's initiative.

The Racing Women supporting partnership will see the introduction of Magic Millions Racing Women supported by TAB Achievement Awards including an annual celebratory dinner, which will begin this January following The Wave Raceday (Saturday, January 6).

TAB is kindly granting Racing Women scholarship funds of up to $50,000 per annum in conjunction with foundation awards including the Racing Women Hall of Fame and National Racing Woman of the Year.

From 2025 and beyond the Achievement Awards will feature five national state based categories to make it the only true national award recognition for female participants in the industry.

"We are thrilled with the extension and indeed growth of the partnership with TAB," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said. "In particular it is great for the Queensland racing industry."

"TAB will continue to have a strong presence across the Gold Coast sales and The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday – and it will build on the existing long term relationship we have with Sky Racing."

"In 2025 the new Friday night Magic Millions race meeting at the Gold Coast under lights will see TAB sponsor the feature race, the $3 million slot race for three-year-old sprinters."

"We are particularly proud that The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday is now firmly established as the number one wagering raceday in Queensland," Bowditch added.

Tabcorp's Chief Customer Officer Jenni Barnett said, "The extension of TAB's wagering partnership with Magic Millions through until 2028 is another example of our long-standing commitment to the best raceday in Queensland and the impact that Magic Millions has within the racing industry through their sales and initiatives."

"As Australia's only wagering and media company, we are particularly proud to support the recently announced Magic Millions Racing Women’s initiative which aligns with TAB and SKY Racing’s ongoing advocacy and promotion of female participation across all roles and all codes of racing."

"And we hope to see many careers blossom through the help of the scholarship program and Achievement Awards."

"We're also excited to further enhance our involvement with The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival by adding the new Friday night TAB sponsored slot race in 2025 to our sponsorship of the $1 million The Syndicate and $1 million Fillies & Mares races."

"We are sure that the addition of this Open slot race under lights will add even more value to what is already one of the most iconic carnivals and sales events on the Australian Calendar."

"Racing on the Gold Coast continues to go from strength to strength on the back of bold plans like these and we look forward to building on our successful partnership with the Magic Millions team," Jenni Barnett added.

The 2024 The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on January 13, while the Gold Coast Yearling Sale will commence on January 9.
