Auguste Rodin to Race on in 2024

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday November 14

Coolmore have had a memorable year with blue-blood Deep Impact colt Auguste Rodin, who is set to race in in 2024.

Already a dual Derby winner this year, who closed out his season with victory in the Group I Breeders’ Cup Turf, Auguste Rodin will remain in training at Ballydoyle under the care of Aidan O’Brien for another year.

"The lads have decided to keep Auguste Rodin in training. We're very much looking forward to having him racing again next year and it's hugely exciting,” O’Brien told Racing Post.

"He's a unique horse, a one off, and the lads are enjoying their racing more than ever at the moment. It's unbelievable for us and everyone else, for everyone who follows racing."

Auguste Rodin is well placed in races from 2000 to 2400m and has a myriad of options available to him next year.

"He came back from Santa Anita in great shape and everyone is delighted with him. He came out of the race in super shape and he's bouncing. He'll have a rest now and we'll bring him back early next year," O’Brien concluded.
