Unbeaten Keshi Boom a New SW for Spirit of Boom

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday November 7

A huge day of racing around Australia produced a new stakes-winner for Eureka Stud’s Spirit of Boom with unbeaten three year-old filly Keshi Boom toppling race favourite Super Smink to win the Listed WATC Burgess Queen Stakes (1400m) at Ascot.

Stepped out to 1400m, Keshi Boom settled back in the field and when angled into the clear was able to charge home and beat Super Smink by a length and a half running away.

Keshi Boom is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group II winner Prince of Boom and stakes-winner Simply Fly being the best of three winenrs from Pearls for Me, a winning half-sister by Red Dazzler to Group II winner Express Air.
