Cosmic Force Filly Goes Two for Two

The onyl first season sire with a winner on Saturday was Deep Field’s brilliant son Cosmic Force, who has a very nice filly in the Chris Munce trained Devine Force. She made it two wins in as many starts when scoring another exciting win at Eagle Farm.

Ridden again by Robbie Dolan, Devine Force led for home and dspeite racing greenly at the finish was still too good in winning the 1000m scamper by more than a length as a short priced favourite.

A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Kingstar Fram draft for Munce Racing/Arthur Hoyeau, Devine Force is eligible for the rich Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January and that is where Chris Munce will be heading with the filly, who is already well placed to gain a start with nearly $100,000 in the bank from her two wins to date.

Devine Force was bred and sold by Kingstar Farm.

Bred and sold by Kingstar Farm, Devine Force is the second winner from Munjai, a winning three-quarter sister by Trusting to Listed ATC Breeders Plate winner Whittington.

Munjai has a yearling colt by Russian Revolution and is due to foal to him again.

Devine Force is the first winner for Group II winner Cosmic Force, who has been very popular at Newgate Farm covering 458 mares in his first three seasons and stands at a fee of $11,000 this spring.
