Darley Announce 2024 European Fees

Tara Madgwick - Friday November 3

Darley have announced fees on their 2024 European roster with Dubawi topping the list at £350,000, while promising young guns Too Darn Hot and Blue Point, who are both in Australia this spring have been given increases.

Too Darn Hot (GB) has his first 2YO's running in Australia this season.

Dubawi’s champion son Too Darn Hot has had his fee upped from £40,000 to £65,000 following a very good first season which has seen him sire 24 winners, four of them stakes-winners headed by Group I winner Fallen Angel.

Blue Point has gone from €35,000 to €60,000 after siring 41 winners, five of them stakes-winners headed by Group I winner Rosallion.

Blue Point (IRE) has his first 2YO's in Australia this season.

The roster will feature two new sons of Dubawi - Breeders' Cup and Lockinge hero Modern Games has been one of his stars this year and will join his father on the Newmarket team at an opening fee of £30,000 while the other new member of the Dalham Hall roster is Royal Ascot G1 Queen Anne Stakes winner Triple Time, who enters at £10,000.

Dubawi’s well established son Night of Thunder stands for €100,000, while evergreen Galileo son Teofilo is priced at €30,000.

Harry Angel, who just sired his first Group I winner in Spring Champion Stakes winner Tom Kitten remains at £10,000.

Sam Bullard, Director of Stallions, said, “The young stallions on the roster are our future and they continue to make compelling viewing. With the two most successful freshmen in 2023, it is exciting to have Pinatubo, Ghaiyyath and Earthlight with two-year-olds next year, we are so lucky to be standing these horses.”

All three are in Australia this spring, Pinatubo in NSW and Ghaiyyath and Earthlight on Victoria.
