With the foaling season nearer the back end than the front end we thought it’d be timely to have a look at some more of the foals of this season’s first crop sires.

On the race performance of the stallions and the foals they’re throwing, this crop of first season horses looks to have plenty to like about it and is going to make for a very interesting couple of years in the sale ring before they hit the track.

With wet weather in Sydney playing havoc with the trial schedule last week there was a big turnout for Canterbury trials on Monday with a key Everest runner in cruise control and several under the radar 3YO’s showing spring potential.
