The first two year-old races of the new season kick off at Randwick on Saturday with the Breeders Plate (G3) and Gimcrack Stakes (G3) where Scampi and Lady Of Camelot have been installed as the early respective favourites off the nominations.

The Maher/Eustace trained Scampi is the $2.10 favourite with tab.com.au in the Breeders Plate after his near perfect trial performance, with Volatile (Peter & Paul Snowden) and Straight Charge (Waterhouse/Bott) the others under double figures.

The Waterhouse/Bott trained Lady Of Camelot is early favourite for the Gimcrack at $2.80 after her easy trial win, marginally ahead of the fastest filly at the official trials, Lady Tassort. The others under double figure odds being Invincible Madison (Snowdens) and Gerringong (Waterhouse/Bott).
