Rawiller was suspended for 14 meetings after pleading guilty to a careless riding charge on the Darren Weir-trained Articus in the Moe Cup.

Rawiller's ban starts after Saturday's Caulfield Cup meeting. He is clear to return at Flemington on Victoria Derby day.

Rawiller will miss Wednesday's Geelong Cup fixture and both meetings of Moonee Valley's Cox Plate carnival but a shaving of the penalty could allow the jockey to ride in his home town cup at Bendigo on Wednesday week.

Rawiller is likely to miss rides on plenty of chances from the powerful Weir stable while suspended for the feature days.

The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board will hear Rawiller's case at 1pm on Monday.

Rawiller did not request a stay of proceedings.
