$525,000 Pierro 2YO Filly - Bred to Win Slipper or Oaks!

The top priced two year-old sold at the Strawberry Hill Stud Dispersal was a stylish Pierro filly from outstanding racemare Dear Demi, winner of the 2012 Group I VRC Oaks.

A half-sister to Group II winner Mokolua, the quality filly was bought by Victorian based Glentree Racing for $525,000 and is the fourth living foal from $2.1million earner Dear Demi, a grand-daughter of Golden Slipper winner Merlene.

She had been broken in and entered for the Golden Slipper.

Dear Demi is also in the sale as Lot 38 as is Mokolua, who is in foal to Frankel and will be offered as Lot 47.
