A $260,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the draft of Widden Stud for McEvoy Mitchell Racing / Belmont Bloodstock, Carnival Row is a half-brother to stakes-winner Anjana and was bred by the Vieira Group, who also bred and raced his sire Trapeze Artist.

Carnival Row is the fifth winner from eight foals to race from Further, an unraced half-sister by More Than Ready (USA) to Group III winner Elusive Touch from Group III winner Shelbourne Lass.

Further is due to foal again to Trapeze Artist, who covered his biggest book so far of 183 mares last spring at Widden Stud a fee of $55,000 and remains at that price.

Carnival Row is the 11th first crop winner and second winner this season for Trapeze Artist, whose exciting son Introducing was beaten a short neck last Saturday in the Listed ATC Rosebud.
