Strawberry Hill Stud Dispersal – It’s All About Family- Snowman

The highly anticipated Strawberry Hill Stud Dispersal features 57 lots and 22 of them or 38% of the catalogue trace in tail female line to celebrated matriarch Joie Denise and there was a promising new winner for this family at Kembla on Saturday.

Trained by Chris Waller, three year-old Snitzel colt Snowman was first up from a spell and opened his account winning by more than a length over 1400m at his third start.

$650,000 Magic Millions purchase Snowman is the first foal and winner for Woman.

A $650,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Strawberry Hill draft for Chris Waller Racing/Mulcaster Bloodstock, Snowman is the first foal of Woman, a winning Frankel daughter of champion mare More Joyous.

The second foal of Woman is a Fastnet Rock filly that will be offered as Lot 19 and Woman is also in the sale as Lot 57 and is in foal to Home Affairs.

There are nine lots in the sale from the Sunday Joy branch of this famous Joie Denise family.
