Placed at her past two starts, she was overdue to break through and got the job done in style for Jordan Childs letting down well over the final furlong to forge clear and win the 1110m maiden by more than two lengths.

Passed in at Inglis Premier where she was offered by her breeder Milburn Creek, Written Bligh runs for Grahame and Sude Begg and has already banked over $32,000 with a win and two placings from just four starts.

Written Bligh is the fifth winner from five to race from Lady Bligh, a winning half-sister by Redoute’s Choice to stakes-winner Run for Levi from the family of triple Group I winning sprinter Spark of Life.

The full brother to Written Bligh made $210,000 at Magic Millions this year when snapped up by Star Thoroughbreds/Randwick Bloodstock Agency.
