Fields and form online for Caulfield Cup day

The Melbourne Racing Club's spring carnival reaches a crescendo on Saturday with a huge 10-race Caulfield Cup day card set down for decision and Racenet has the fields and form online.

Punters will need to get cracking on their form for Saturday's Caulfield Guineas meeting.

The Caulfield Cup field and barrier draw were released on Tuesday but the meeting also features the Group II Caulfield Sprint (1000m) and Tristarc Stakes (1400m).

A field of 18 has accepted for the Tristarc Stakes while the Caufield Sprint will feature runners and both races will offer $200,000 in stakes.

Eight three-year-olds will compete for $350,000 in stakes in the Group III Ladbrokes Caulfield Classic (2000m), which serves as one of the main lead-up races to the Victoria Derby (2500m).

The meeting will start with the Resimax Group Plate (1400m) at 12.15pm while the Caulfield Cup field will jump at 4:30pm.

The Listed Alinghi Stakes (1100m) will close the day at 5.45pm.

Track manager Jason Kerr has rated the Caulfield circuit as a good (3) on Wednesday morning while the rail will be in the usual six-metre position for Caulfield Cup day.
