Trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy, Under and Over improved on her debut fifth at Bendigo earlier this month to score a dominant two and a half length win in the 1100m maiden.

Under and Over was bred by Spendthrift and runs for Pipeliner Bloodstock. She is the fourth winner from four foals to race from Western Gem, a winning half-sister by Charge Forward to Group II winner Western Jewel, the dam of Group I winner Western Empire.

She is the tenth Australian winner this season for Overshare, best known as the sire of stakes-winning filly Lady Laguna.

A fast Group III winning son of I Am Invincible, Overshare stands at a fee of $8,800 and covered 135 mares last spring.
