New Stakes-Winner for Kingman

Tara Madgwick - Friday June 16

Fresh from siring his first Australian G1 winner last weekend when King Colorado won the Group I BRC JJ Atkins Stakes, Juddmonte Farms Kingman posted another new stakes-winner overnight with lightly raced three year-old filly Crack of Light taking out the Listed Prix de Thiberville (2400m) at Longchamp.

The William Haggas trained filly score by a neck and has two wins and two placings from four starts.

Crack of Light is the 64th stakes-winner for Kingman and is the best of two winners from Dawn Horizons, a winning three-quarter sister by New Approach to Group II winner Frankly Darling from Group II winner Hidden Hope.

King Colorado is one of nine Australian bred two year-olds by Kingman, who also has seven Aussie bred yearlings and eight weanlings.

Kingman will be available to Southern Hemisphere breeders at a fee of £40,000, which equates to AU$75,000.
