Yulong European Imports Calling Australia Home

Mark Smith - Tuesday May 30

The dominance of Yulong Stud at broodmare sales in recent years has been little short of staggering. It was highlighted by the $33,446,000 spent on sixty lots at the National Broodmare Sale after splashing out $7,225,000 at an average of $1,806,250 for four lots at the Chairman’s Sale.

The Yuesheng Zhang-owned operation has been busy around the world, and there are some interesting imports from Europe in 2023 grazing the paddocks of Yulong’s showpiece in Victoria.

Even more intriguing is most mares have already foaled to Northern Hemisphere time.
