Sad Passing of Beloved Trust in a Gust

Breednet - Tuesday May 30

Glen Eden Stud are saddened to announce the passing of their esteemed stallion, Trust in a Gust. The dual Group 1 winner, bred by Swettenham Stud, leaves behind a legacy of racetrack and progeny success in the Victorian industry.

Trust In A Gust

Trust in a Gust, a son of the renowned stallion Keep the Faith, was foaled in 2009 and quickly rose to prominence with his exceptional racing career. Trust in a Gust displayed remarkable talent and determination, capturing the hearts of racing enthusiasts across the nation, capturing the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and the Group 1 Toorak Handicap in 2014.

Retiring to stud in 2015, Trust in a Gust continued to make his mark on the industry by passing on his remarkable traits to his progeny who have enjoyed a purple patch in recent years.

Adam Sangster expressed his heartfelt condolences on the loss of Trusty. "Trust in a Gust was a true champion in every sense of the word. His exceptional racing ability combined with his undeniable presence made him a favourite among breeders and racing enthusiasts alike. We are immensely proud to have bred such a remarkable stallion at Swettenham Stud with his dam, Subtle Breeze, still playing her part as a nanny on the farm."
