Blueblood Juveniles Step Out at Canterbury

The first two juvenile maidens at Canterbury today for colts and fillies feature plenty of well bred interesting runners, but none more so than $2.25million Snitzel colt Congregation.

The full brother to Golden Slipper winner Estijaab from dual Group I winner Response, the Chris Waller trained Congregation has had two trials and will be ridden by Kerrin McEvoy.

Response has had five foals to race for four winners and her current yearling colt by Snitzel sold for $1.4million at Inglis Easter this year.

The fillies race also features some well bred girls including Tutta La Vita, a half-sister by The Autumn Sun to Group I winning sprinter Secret Agenda from super producer Negotiate, who has nine foals to race and all are winners.

Power Ballard an interesting filly by Exceed and Excel as the first foal from Right Chord, a full sister to Pierro that was bought by James Harron Bloodstock from Godolphin at the 2020 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $1,050,000 when carrying this filly.

All Too Hard filly First Person carries the colours of her breeder Cressfield and is a half-sister to the Group I VRC Oaks winner Personal that they bred and sold.
