Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Paris Dior won the $1million Group II ATC Percy Sykes Stakes and retires with earnings topping $1.2million.

Retained to race by her breeders Steve Wildeand Bill Hilton, after passing in as a yearling, Paris Dior has proven an amazing money spinner as the first foal of Entrancing, a winning Exceed and excel grand-daughter of former slick stakes-winning sprinter Nanny Maroon.

Pierro has a growing reputation as a broodmare sire having produced the dams of dual Group I winner Jacquinot and three more juvenile stakes-winners this season – Chilled, I Am Unstoppable and The Spirit of Zero.

“I think Pierro as a broodmare sire has become a real talking point. He’s doing a great job as a broodmare sire and he’s doing a great job on the racetracks,” Tom Magnier said.

“She’s very good looking and we’ll take her home but the Pierro factor was a big part of the play there.
