The Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale kicks off on Tuesday and the Blue Sky Premium Consignment features a dazzling array of 50 mares including top class race fillies straight off the track and two broodmares in foal to champion sire Frankel.

Juddmonte Farms based Frankel was in the limelight at the Magic Millions Weanling Sale siring the top two lots, a pair of colts from Upside (IRE) and Walk This Way (IRE) that sold for $925,000 and $725,000.

Frankel is one of the world’s best stallions and has an impressive strike rate in Australia where his progeny include 16 stakes-winners headed by Group I winners Hungry Heart, Converge and Mirage Dancer (GB) with a new SW on Saturday in Lets'befrankbaby, read about her here..

The two mares below are both offered in foal to Frankel.

Lot 1025 Murasaki (GB) is a winner in France by another champion sire in Dubawi, whose daughters have established a very successful nick with Frankel.

Murasaki is in foal to Frankel.

Epsom Derby contender Military Order won the recent Listed Lingfield Derby Trial to become seventh stakes-winner for Frankel from a daughter of Dubawi. The nick between the two champion sires has had 27 winners from 32 runners, so 84% winners to runner and 22% SW to runner.

Interestingly three of the SW’s are G1 winners Adayar, Homeless Truths and Dream Castle, so it’s producing a G1 winner for every 10 runners!!

Murasaki has a Black Type tail female line with her dam Michita a Group II winner, second dam Thunder Kitten a Group III winner and third dam Nastique a Group I winner.

Lot 958 Kapralova (USA) (War Front) - In foal to Frankel in her first season at stud. She is a full sister to dual Group I winner Avenge, Group III winner Liguria and half-sister to stakes-winner Lira.
