Good Judges Swoop on $310,000 Zoustar Colt

Tara Madgwick - Thursday May 18

One of the early highlights on Thursday at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale was a Zoustar colt from Delectation Girl (GB) that sold for $310,000 to Suman Hedge Bloodstock (FBAA)/Redwall Bloodstock/James Harron Bloodstock.

Consigned by Milburn Creek, the colt is the first of a globetrotting mare that raced successfully in Europe for Australian Bloodstock winning multiple Group races before returning to Australia where she again showed her class.

Placed twice in Group races in Sydney and Newcastle, she was also fourth in the Group I ATC Queen of the Turf Stakes so was an interesting proposition when offered in the Inglis Digital July (early) sale in 2021.

Delectation Girl was a $245,000 Inglis Digital purchase in 2021.

She was snapped up by bloodstock agent Suman Hedge for $245,000 and in her first mating for new owners Iskander Racing produced this lovely Zoustar colt.

Delectation Girl was covered last spring by So You Think after missing to Written Tycoon.
