After sitting outside the pace-maker, Easy Does It , ridden by Alan Munro, hit the front at the top of the straight and responded well to Munros urgings to find the winning post a neck in advance of closest rival.

"This horse was quite impressive at his barrier trials (won one in New Zealand and one at Kranji). He had to be good to win today, especially from the other horse (Ateej) who has more experience than him
" said Gray.

Bred by Daniel
Nakhle, Easy Does It was purchased by Gray at the 2016 New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale for $70,000.

Easy Does It
was the second winner on a successful weekend his Hallmark Stud sire, with EASY BEAST recording back-to-back wins at Morphettville in Australia.

Super Easy is represented by nine two-year-olds at this year's Ready to Run Sale, with breeze-ups commencing at Te Rapa on Monday.

Super Easy
stands at Hallmark Stud for $7,500 + GST.
