Two Quality Chairman’s Mares from Middlebrook Valley

Middlebook Valley Lodge have 17 mares to be offered at Riverside Stables in the next few days with the first two to be offered in the Chairman’s Sale on Thursday night.

Both are young quality mares with all their stud careers ahead of them.

Lot 79 is Twist of Fury, a six time metro winning Written Tycoon mare offered in foal to Maurice (Jpn) in her first season at stud.

One of only three mares in the sale covered by the sire of G1 winners Hitotsu and Mazu, Twist of Fury is a half-sister to Group placed stakes-winner Nanagui from Group III winning Shamardal (USA) mare Shamalia.

Lot 87 is Amasenus (Time for War), a two time stakes-winner of 10 races from 1000 to 1400m that was also Group III placed and won over $477,000 in prizemoney.

A half-sister to three other winners from the family of Group III winners Suavity and Eight Till Late, Amasenus has not been to stud and is offered as a breeding proposition only.
