Eureka Stud Release 2023 Fees

Media Release - Monday May 1

After another exceptional season of racetrack results and with his yearling average rising 20%, Spirit of Boom has a well-earned fee increase for 2023.

And after an exciting start to Encryption’s stud career with his first crop of two-year-olds unearthing exciting stakes horse CIFRADO, we are pleased to stand him in Queensland again this season.

PROVEN, PRECOCIOUS, POTENT

Spirit of Boom stands at $38,500 inc. GST

Spirit of Boom has delivered another strong racing season with his customary two-year-old representatives already featuring two stakes winners, DE SONIC BOOM in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview and MALABOOM in the Listed Calaway Gal Stakes.

Currently third by juvenile winners in Australia and having finished second with his first quality crop last year, Spirit of Boom is the perpetual contender for the juvenile sire titles this season. With five strong books of quality mares now covered and coming through, the building momentum looks set to continue with his overall individual runners performing at over 70% winners and 7% stakes performers.

Spirit of Boom is a truly rare and reliable proven option amongst the stallion ranks and this has seen his yearlings this year average $240,000 at Magic Millions January and $150,000 across all sales, selling up to $475,000. After covering a full book of 182 mares last season, Spirit of Boom will stand in 2023 for a fee of $38,500 including GST with a change of payment terms to include a ‘No Foal Refund'.

EXCITING FIRST SEASON

Encryption stands at $13,200 inc. GST

Encryption, the blue-blooded, Group 1 performed sprint son of Lonhro and Guelph has seen his first two-year-olds debut this season.

His progeny is highlighted so far by the promising stakes horse CIFRADO who placed second in the Phelan Ready Stakes, then returned this campaign with a 5-length win. After an impressive last to third finish in the Dalrello Stakes, he will make his way to the $1,000,000 Group 2 BRC Sires Produce Stakes on May 27th.

Encryption has so far produced two winners and four placegetters from just 13 runners with plenty of his talented progeny in the wings soon to debut.

Entering his fifth year at stud, and after covering substantial books of more than 120 mares in his first four breeding seasons, Encryption will again stand at an unchanged $13,200 inc GST, with payment on live foal, in 2023.
