New Appointment at Blue Gum Farm

Media Release - Friday April 28

Blue Gum Farm is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Lindsay as Sales Manager.

Mark Lindsay is a familiar face for Victorian breeders, having previously held the position of Nominations Manager at Eliza Park from 2008-2015 and Sun Stud 2018 -2020.

In between was a two-season stint in the Hunter Valley with Newgate as Bloodstock & Sales Manager.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Newgate, however the people that know me well, knew that I always felt Victoria was my home.

"The opportunity to join the Blue Gum / Trilogy operation, a farm with such a proven history, that also has ties with the Newgate Stallion partnership that raced horses this season such as In The Congo and Militarize, is something I want to be a part of.”

Sean Dingwall, co-owner, and Managing Director of Blue Gum Farm has welcomed the new addition to the team.

"Mark is experienced and he knows the commercial realities and challenges that exist for breeders. He is proactive and understands what we wish to achieve with the Blue Gum business.”

Blue Gum Farm has a proud history and a bright future.

Lindsay is clearly impressed with the current roster and what the future holds.

“Blue Gum has a proud history of being Victoria’s leading stallion and breeding nursery. Encosta De Lago, Rubiton and Last Tycoon to name but a few stood here. In addition, Blue Gum has been leading vendor at Victoria’s Premier Yearling Sale four out of the last five years, while also selling over 20 stakes winners in that period. The farm just produces mind blowing results. Add to the mix, the exciting 2023 freshman Sejardan (by Sebring), a Breeders Plate and Todman Trial winning two-year-old plus the recent acquisition of Flying Artie, the sire of Artorius and Asfoora, it makes for an extremely exciting future.”

Mark can be contacted on 0474 347 252 and mark@bluegumfarm.com.au
