Middlebrook Valley Lodge a Pinhooker’s Paradise

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Thursday April 27

Middlebrook Valley Lodge are heading to the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale with 14 youngsters after withdrawals and the draft features the progeny of first season sires Anders, Bivouac and North Pacific.

A brilliantly fast son of Not a Single Doubt, Anders won over a lot of breeders when he paraded at Widden Stud for the first time and there will be great interest in his offspring at this sale.

Lot 114 is a standout for her sire on pedigree being a half-sister to four winners from Group I winning juvenile Linky Dink (NZ), a daughter of stakes-winning Sir Tristram (IRE) mare Gimmick.

Lot 114

This is the family of Group I winner Clearly Innocent, who is by Anders sire Not a Single Doubt.

Triple Group I winning sprinter Bivouac is another young sire that has been given every opportunity at Darley covering plenty of quality outside mares in addition to a plethora of Godolphin blue-bloods.

Lot 240 is a lovely Bivouac filly from top producing Snitzel mare Sherbet Bomb.

Lot 240

A winning daughter of stakes-winner Lady Annaliese, Sherbet Bomb has had four foals to race all winners headed by Group placed Rocket Fuel and Elkington Road.

A Group III winning son of Brazen Beau, Newgate Farm’s North Pacific was narrowly beaten in the Group I ATC Golden Rose, splitting Ole Kirk and King’s Legacy at the finish, and all three have weanlings on offer at this sale.

Lot 45 is a stylish brown North Pacific filly and is the third foal from Glamour Gal, whose first two foals have both raced since the catalogue went to print. Her three year-old filly Persian Dancer (Choisir) is a winner at Wagga and her two year old filly Glamour Tycoon (Written Tycoon) was a close second at Te Rapa on debut earlier this month.

Lot 45

Glamour Gal is a half-sister to Group II winner Etana and Group III placed Echo Gal.

Lot 90 is an attractive North Pacific colt with an international pedigree being from Kibira (Fr), an unraced Aga Khan Stud bred mare by Redoute’s Choice.

Lot 90

Kibira is a daughter of French stakes-winner Kerasona, who produced a first crop winner for Blue Point last week in France in Keran.
