The Inglis Australian Weanling Sale is on next Monday and Tuesday, May 1 and 2 with some 400 plus youngsters offering savvy investors great opportunities for future success in the pinhook arena or on the racetrack.

Quality pedigrees abound with the following yearlings all from Group winning mares.

Lot 36 Colt Blue Point (IRE) x Fontainebleau, by Alfred Nobel (IRE) – Davali Thoroughbreds

One of only two in sale by Blue Point, a sire on a fast track in Europe with his first runners. Third foal of Listed WATC Belmont Oaks winner and yearling full brother sold for $125,000 at Perth Magic Millions.

Lot 72 Colt Harry Angel (IRE) x Imananabaa, by Anabaa (USA) – Mullaglass Stud

By leading first season sire that has sired three SW’s – Tom Kitten, Arkansaw Kid and Stretan Angel - Half-brother to six winners from G1 winning sprinter Imananabaa.

Lot 114 Filly Anders x Linky Dink, by Keeper- Middlebrook Valley Lodge

The Australian G1 season has concluded and there were 23 Group I races won by older horses at a distance less than 1600m, but one race that fits the category but is yet to be given G1 status is the $10million Golden Eagle (1500m) and form out of it would suggest it was the best of them all.
G1 3YOs - Where the Real Action Is
