Twin Hills HTBA Yearling Sale - Six to Watch

The yearling sale season continues for Twin Hills Stud at the HTBA Yearling Sale at Riverside Stables on Sunday with a draft of 12 yearlings offering buyers a last chance in NSW to invest in a yearling eligible for the lucrative Inglis Race bonus series.

The draft features yearlings by Twin Hills proven G1 producing sires Hallowed Crown, Denman and Smart Missile as well as youngsters by Blue Point (IRE), Churchill (IRE), Magna Grecia (IRE), Needs Further, Puissance de Lune (IRE) and Written By.

Lot 148 Filly Churchill (IRE) x Quetee Shoes (NZ), by Jimmy Choux

From the third Australian crop of Galileo son Churchill and is third foal of a winning mare from outstanding NZ Black Type family that has produced G1 winners Linton, Santa Monica and Sharvasti.

Lot 185 Filly Needs Further x Sun Melody, by Dissident

The only yearling in the sale by outstanding Tasmanian sire Needs Further and is first foal of a half-sister to Group winners Poland and Supreme Profit from the family of three-time Australian Horse of the Year Sunline.

Lot 220 Filly Smart Missile x Admission, by Bernardini (USA)

Second foal of a winning half-sister to stakes-winners Strat’s Flyer and Bauble and is a full sister to promising three year-old Smart Recognition, who has had two starts for a fourth and a second at Eagle Farm and Doomben in February and is back in work after a break.

Lot 242 Colt Denman x At Ease, by Canny Lad

Half-brother to four winners including HK winner Star of Joy and metro winner Written With Ease and is from stakes-winning sprinter At Ease from the family of Group I winning 2YO Capital Gain.

Lot 245 Filly Puissance de Lune (IRE) x Beautiful Fantasy, by Ladoni (GB)

One of few yearlings in the sale eligible for Super VOBIS and is a full sister to a smart three time winner Launch Pad from the family of stakes-winner Bocada.

Lot 261 Filly Smart Missile x Cab Fair, by Duporth

Second foal of a winning half-sister to Group III winner Pedrena from a US Black Type family featuring stakes-winners including Moments of Magic and Mines and Magic.
