Bred to Win Returns to Sky on Monday Night

After several months of yearling sale previews, Caroline Searcy’s informative and entertaining Bred To Win returns, Monday night at 7.30pm on Sky Thoroughbred Central.

Episode 1 features the breeding back-stories to Day Two of The Championships at Royal Randwick plus an extended review of the thrilling Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

Major sponsor Arrowfield Stud continues to support the popular, “Horse Who Made You Love Racing” segment, this week hearing from Arrrowfield’s United States’ representative, Case Clay, from the famous Three Chimney’s Farm family. In coming weeks Case will also feature in an extended interview touching on Arrowfield’s partnerships with other “world’s best” international breeders.

Stories in series 1 of Bred To Win include fellow sponsor Cambridge Stud with an update on the historic farm’s racetrack results and stallion news with Henry Plumptre, David Ellis has an update from the hugely successful Te Akau Racing machine and leading thoroughbred vet Greg Nash explains the work done for buyers and vendors at yearling sales to ensure the best results on the racetrack.

Also, after the success of star New Zealand stallion Proisir in recent times, siring Australian Guineas winner, Legarto, Vinery Stud Stakes winner Prowess, Tulloch Stakes winner Tapildoodledo and 4-time Group 1 winner Levante, Bred To Win will present a feature story on Proisir at Rich Hill Stud in New Zealand, along with Satono Aladdin, sire of this weekend’s ATC Australian Oaks winner Pennyweka.
