$1.05 Million Colt a New Benchmark for Deep Field

Tara Madgwick - Monday April 3

Deep Field is the reigning champion sire in Hong Kong and with limited opportunities now to secure his stock, a colt from stakes-winner Granny Red Shoes proved a hot commodity at Inglis Easter on Monday.

Bred and offered by Segenhoe, he is the second foal of a young stakes-winning daughter of Not a Single Doubt and was snapped up by the powerful China Horse Club/Newgate/Go/Trilogy stallion syndicate.

This colt is the second Deep Field yearling ever to break seven figures and takes over as his most expensive yearling.
