Hot Lots Day 1 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale 2023

Mark Smith - Sunday April 2

The 2023 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale kicks off at Riverside Stables on Monday with the first of 457 lots catalogued to go under the hammer over two days.

The sales big hitters I Am Invincible (39), Snitzel (40), Written Tycoon (32) and Zoustar (25) will form the backbone of the sale.

Others with sizeable drafts with quality offerings include Dundeel (31), Pierro (29), Deep Field (14), The Autumn Sun (30), Exceed And Excel (21), So You Think (21), and Trapeze Artist (12).

Coolmore’s flagship stallion Fastnet Rock may not have the numbers nowadays, but there is quality in his eight lots. The same could be said for Triple Crown hero Justify (USA) whose ten lots to sell come from a bevy of quality mares.

A shortage of numbers and continued racetrack success results in Extreme Choice (5) being highly sought after and his name only results in a spot at the elite sales.

The first session has 228 lots catalogued.
