A $1million Magic Millions yearling purchase that was a Group III winner in Sydney, young Snitzel stallion Dracarys has made a pleasing start to his stud career in Queensland at Oakwood Farm and has yearlings to be offered at Magic Millions Gold Coast March Sale starting on Monday.

Dracarys is a promising young sire son of Snitzel.

An athletic bay with a powerful sprinter’s physique that caught the eye of renowned bloodstock agent James Harron, Dracarys is passing on his good looks and talent to his offspring.

With his oldest progeny just two year-olds, Dracarys has had three starters and all have placed with I’m Pinker winning on debut last November at Rockhampton, while Oberoi Princess was second at Eagle Farm last Wednesday after a debut second at the Sunshine Coast last month.

His other runner Hit the Road placed at Townsville on Thursday finishing third beaten half a length in a thrilling finish.
